Anyone had their steering wheel redone in Abu Dhabi? My leather is peeling bad

So my daily driver’s steering wheel has started looking really rough lately – the leather is cracking and peeling off in little flakes, and it’s gotten to the point where it’s actually uncomfortable to hold during longer drives. I’ve been looking into getting it reupholstered instead of buying one of those cheap universal covers that never fit right. Has anyone here gone through with a steering wheel rewrap locally? I’m wondering about the turnaround time and whether they can match the original thickness or if it ends up feeling bulkier. Also curious how it holds up in the summer heat – don’t want to spend the money only to have the stitching come apart after a few months. Appreciate any honest experiences, good or bad.
