I just picked up a used 21ft center console and the previous owner warned me that the current battery is on its last legs, so I’m shopping around before I get stranded out near Palm Jumeirah. I’ve been looking at Premium Seabang Marine Battery Options for UAE Boats because a guy at the marina mentioned they handle the heat and constant vibration better than regular car batteries, but I haven’t met anyone who actually runs one long term. Found Battery Zone’s page at batteryzoneuae.com/seabang and the specs look decent – deep cycle, high CCA, and they claim a 12 month warranty. Does anyone here use Seabang on their boat? I mostly do coastal cruising and some fishing, nothing extreme, but the summer heat kills normal batteries in like a year. Also curious if they’re true deep cycle or more of a dual purpose. Appreciate any real feedback before I drop the cash.
