Spending More Time Updating Than Playing

Yesterday I sat down ready for a chill gaming session and realized almost everything needed an update. By the time it was done, I didn’t even feel like playing anymore.
It got me thinking that maybe the problem isn’t the games — it’s how scattered everything is. I’m starting to believe a good platform can completely change the experience.

Last Friday I finally had a quiet night, grabbed snacks, launched my computer, and then just sat there watching updates stack one after another until the mood was completely gone. Out of habit I started digging through my library and remembered I had a clair obscur expedition 33 steam key waiting, so I installed it through a platform my friend would not stop praising. Everything opened so quickly it almost caught me off guard, and for once I spent the evening actually playing instead of troubleshooting, which reminded me how effortless gaming is supposed to feel.
